Is the Skylight Cabin really buildable in my area?+

Yes. Our plans are designed to meet general residential code standards and include structural, architectural, and MEP documentation. Many clients have already used them to build across different U.S. regions and internationally.

What if my lot isn't flat or has complex topography?+

Not a problem. The package includes both slab and crawlspace foundation options. If your site has a slope or requires a walkout basement, we offer that as an optional add-on. Your free Discovery Call is the best place to discuss specifics.

Can I modify the plans?+

Yes. The included editable CAD (DWG) files let you or a local designer adapt the layout. Many clients personalize the floor plan, add rooms, or shift openings to fit their lifestyle or land. We also offer custom modification services.

Are the documents enough for permit submission?+

In most cases, yes. The plan set includes architectural drawings, structural layout, and MEP diagrams, plus REScheck energy compliance for Climate Zones 2 and 3. Some jurisdictions may require a local engineer to stamp the plans.

Will this be approved for permits in my city?+

Building codes vary, but most jurisdictions accept our plans with little to no modification. Your local building department may require minor site-specific adaptations. We're here to help with that through your free Discovery Call.

Can you help me adapt it to my location?+

Yes! Every purchase includes a free 30-minute Discovery Call where we review your site, answer technical questions, and suggest next steps. We also offer custom adaptation services for terrain, climate, or code-specific needs.
